For those of you with the same or even the H210-H220SS with the colored bottom. I have a red one and the bottom is dull looking from rubbing on the sand bottoms in the area we boat. Basically it is scratched up. Any way to fix it??

Thanks. Sounds like a good winter project. I don't own a buffer. Any advice on what to get or what to use? Also never used a buffer. Is it like on a car where if your not careful you can wreck it??

I would get a cheap 6" orbital buffer and try a coat of regular fleet wax. That might do it and its pretty harmless with just wax. If it doesnt i'd have someone do it they will do a fine wet sand and them buff to a sheen.

Thanks for the help guys. Also what do you guys use to clean the winshield? I here the tinted ones scratch pretty easy.

I anticipated beaching, and installed a keelguard. A few scratches regardless, but it's all how I use it. As far as the windscreen, I've been using only windex and a squeegee like they have at gas stations; then go over it with a soft cloth (old T-shirt or similar) to get any residue. It may have a few swirls in it, but not too visible. I'd say my cover leaves worse marks on it than anything (dust).

Would probably suggest the G12310 PlastX™ Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish as it is a one-step process making life simple for you.

I use PlastX myself for motorcycle windscreens etc, great product. Also use Plexus , which is very good for helmut visors also!
