Hi all,
I have a 1995 freedom that I purchased a few months ago. The last few times I have taken her out I have felt a slight rattle and also the engine sounds a lot louder than it did in the beginning. I was just wondering if you have any suggestions. The manual says that a rattling might indicate problems with the prop but I highly doubt that. It runs great and we don't have any other problems so I don't think it is anything major. Any information or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have a 95 horizon with 5.0 and efi. I get a little rattling to as it warms up....but it goes away after reaching temp.
I don't know that it's anything serious in my case...but I too have questions as to what it could be.
I have no other issues with the engine. I've been told.....don't worry about it. I may heed the advice. It's been going on for a year now and everything is perfect....so why worry...unless you're 50 miles from port and it goes "south"
