Overall, I am very happy with my 2005 298 Vista. However, the generator has always been unpredictable. The marina that takes care of my boat and is a Kohler certified service center has finally identified the issue as related to an unstable grounding of the unit. Apparently, the Genset controls are grounded thru the shore power and the 12 volt controls are grounded to the shore power and some accessory on the control panel. Has anybody had similar issues with the grounding. Any recommendations.
