The joys of summer as we sit through what looks to be a really long winter.

I need to get up to that area some time. Would love to take a cruise up the river and explore the different hang out spots, but I'm a little tentative because of the navigation channels.

How many cans of (insert favorite beer brand here) does it take to come up with the name "Beaver Fever?"

If you get up to this area you do need to pay atention to your depth finder and watch the nav. channels. If you wander outside the makers be prepared to hit something. Once you get used to it and know where to go and where not to go its not bad at all. Average dapth on most of the water here is about 7-8 feet, but look at it this way. There are a lot of 30-40 boats running around up here and if they can do it so can you. The nice thing about this area though is all the sand bottom areas we have to stop and hang out. I for one don't like jumping out of my boat and standing in muck.
