I recently went through this, trying to pick a name.

I found these to be good:
-No Kids Tuition
-Knot Working
-Not-A-Wake
-Naughty-Cal
-Passing Wind

Since I am in the Machining Industry, I went with "Toolin' Around". Was also thinking of Sea-N-Sea (for CNC Machining).

Sorry, I cam in late on this one. Did you choose a name yet! I like one that was mentioned earlier, that I've never heard before: "Bad To The Bow"!! Has a nice ring to it. Try saying it like you were calling on the radio. Sounds Cool! Say it fast..

"Bad To The Bow", "Bad To The Bow" calling Bridge tender..Do you read..Over...

We just came up with our own name too after a LOT of internet asking and looking around.

Nauti Luv (Nauti because its water. Luv because my wife works for Southwest Airlines, based at Dallas LUV field.)

Sorry just looked at this post. Here are a couple of names I thought about putting on my boat.
SEA-NOTE or PEP-SEA. Pep-sea bcause my family was in the pepsi business for about 50 years.

How about Summer School or some reference to Detention.

Todd - which is it going to be? The forever battle of good versus evil.

I named my boat "Pier Pressure" If you knew me, I would say that it is very fitting for me and my boat. Kind of a play on words so to speak.

I am leaning toward summer school. Since I am finishing school to be a principal and living in a small town, I think expelled may give off the wrong vibe. I do like them both, but summer school fits.

So im late to this thread as well, but have also been agonizing over the perfect name. I know its bad luck to rename a boat, but as far as i know she has never been named, so want to get it right the first time around. Currently considering:

Wake Up
The Dirty Oar
Rough Life
Nancy Lane

Leave it to my friends to come up with a male anatomy joke, but they are convinced i should name it "Four-skins". Needless to say i will not be naming it that.

Leaning towards “Wake Up” I think….

anybody know of a good sign shop that is worth recommending?

A local sign shop here quoted me like 275 bucks for a boat name & hailing port that measured 11 inches tall X 33 inches wide. Seems kind of steep to me... Although - it's not possible for the normal BoatUS or Overtons route because of the lettering and graphic style.
