Has any one replaced the faucet/showerhead in their head? Mine has a crack and don't need all of the hardware including hoses and mixers as it is sold by Four Winns, and was hoping someone might know who makes the item and/or where to get a similar replacement.

Thanks,

Sorry, the boat it is on is the 248 Vista, but from what I have seen, most use the same hardware, but maybe a different faucet.

Thanks

had to replace our faucet the head, the flexable hose broke, and pumped the the fresh water tank into the bilge. Actually I think the kids pulled it out and kinked it.... but when asked what answer do you think thay gave? Dad we never touched it. yeah right. Anyway, tried to find one online and couldnt... ended up at the FW dealer. Cant remember what i paid, but I remember a "pucker" factor when they gave the price..... but what do you do... bite the bullet and forget about it...

I have a '00 268 Vista and I replaced mine. Got it from a company called Scandvik and it was an exact replacement. Your's should be the same on the 248. See link below:

Thanks, that was a big help and a lot cheaper than going to Four Winns. Ordered it today.

I'm glad it helped. I try to fix as much as possible myself on my boat. We all know the costs of marine mecahnics and any part that has the word "marine" in it. It's not easy, but with a little research, you can usually find the parts and the knowledge base you are looking for when it comes to doing it yourself.

Hello sniper222,
Yes I had change my faucet last month. Changing faucet is so simple just follow these steps.
1. Open and check the valve assemblies before installation.
2. Tape the new valves.
3. Install the new valve.
4. Install the sleeve.
5. Install the flange.
6. Install the retaining screw cover on each handle.
7. Use bathtub caulk to seal any gaps where hardware meets the shower wall.
