Hi SS owners, I have a 2008 RED H200SS, 350, tower, bow filler, compass, spare tire, walk thru doors, every option except the upgraded stereo which I will have do soon, new spring 2009 pics to come.

Questions for the SS owners:

1. I noticed the 2009 H200SS has "Transom Trim Tilt control" can I have this put on my boat?
2. No arch/tower light options in 2008, now there is any knw how much to buy just light?
3. 2009 Catalyst motor option? what is this?

Thanks Doggie JrImage

Welcome to the cult....we need those pics ASAP.

I too, would like to add the transom tilt switch on my boat.

To have the lights options...you would need some sort of tower.

The catalyst motor option, I believe is for states such as California that have more strict emissions laws, but I could be totally wrong there....anyone back me up on this?

Where do you boat?

I can't wait to get back in the water and get some pics of mine. Only got it out three times last year after buying it late in the season and seemed to forget the camera each time or took the camera and forgot to take pictures!! Arghh. We actually had the camera the very last time out and when I went to take some pics the damn battery was dead!!

Love the look of tha painted trailer. Wish mine was red like that. My old boat was also red/white and had a red trailer. Its a nice look.

hi,i just got back from the ottawa boat show and purchase a new180ss.its a horizon 180 with the 4.3 engine and all the ss options also the low windshield tinted....i ordered the boat in black color and got a extended swim platform put on and a wake tower package with the racks.the reason i got the 180 ss is because i got a newer subaru forester xt(turbo) and love it and have no intension to change it for a bigger vehicle to pull a beautiful 200ss or 210ss.i have right now a 2007 horizon 180 with the waketower package but only have the 3.0 volvo engine...it a no no.picture it 5 in the boat and try to pull somebody on a board ...it doesn't work unless the boarder has experience.so that 2007 is leaving and replacing it with a 180ss.i have a hard time to find info on it they had a red one at the show but no swim or waketower.when i get it in may i will post pictures for you guys i promise.fuel in canada is at 3.20$ a gallon here so am scared going BIG will leave my wallet low.

Welcom, Doggie Jr. I sure that the transom remote can be added as when I ordered my boat they were unavailable for the Volvo's, but now are and had been available for the Mercs. You could save some money on lights going aftermarket. The catalyst option is something I'm not sure of if it is just for certain states or not.

I bought a rack for my kneeboard from these guys. Decent price, selection, etc on lights as well. Give them a try.

I added this to both my Sea Ray 185, and my FW 225 Sundowner. Since it looks like we are selling this boat and getting a cruiser, I'll be adding it to that also. Not hard at all to do, and can be done for under $60, including the cost of the hole saw from your local hardware store. Here's a copy from what I posted on the Sea Ray forum when I did it, I don't think I documented it anywhere when I did it to my 225. Here's the part I purchased for my Sea Ray that had a Merc, the other part # is 87-815200A02 and that is for the flat 3 pin packard connector.

Took about 30 minutes and I had my fiance helping out hold a plastic bag on the inside of the boat while I drilled. I drilled through fiberglass and gelcoat only, no wood at all. I know my boat has some wood bracing in the transom somewhere....

Sealed it up with 4200 real well even though it has a gasket, and through bolted with stainless steel bolts, washers, lock washer, and nylon lock nuts. Its going to be there for a good long time.....best mod I've done!
