Anyone considering going 'big' anytime soon?

My local dealer has a new, leftover 2007 Vista 378 with twin 8.1s. He's got it listed at 180k, but I know they'll do better.

I'm trying to dig up the options list... If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll let you know who to get in contact with!

From what I understand, it was a demo boat - so it has some hours (less than 100) -- but it's still got all the warranty and stuff with it.

You should just trade in your 318, the $180K is not much more than you paid for your's.

Thought about going for it... but 2 problems.

1) It's blue. The admiral does not want to own a blue boat.
2) THe 318 is more than we ever wanted. Colors/options/everything. We're pretty thrilled with what we've got right now.

If I am going 40 footer - I'm going 408. THe next boat the admiral wants is a 'Coupe' style.

I would jump all over it but what would it cost to ship it from Washington to Florida? Also would they take a trade on a 318?

You can get it shipped for less than $3,000, if you shop around.

Local trade - maybe. Trade from Florida? - Probably not.

I know they would work with a buyer on the shipping. I know there's still some room for negotiations at that price.

LOL it is more than my house. I only paid 120k for the house, 3 acres, and large shop.

I love coming to this forumn to see people's toys that are worth more than all of my assets combined.
