Last weekend I spent the days washing, waxing, vacuuming, cleaning, shampooing, and getting the boat ready for the summer. Saturday will officially kick off our first season with our Vista so we are heading out for an overnighter and some fishing. The boat will then be moored 2 miles from the house for the rest of the season, which we hope runs until November.

Enjoy fishing, I am jealous. We just got another few inches of snow this last week, gone here at the house, but temps still in the 20's over night.
I hope to go get our boat out of storage within the next couple weeks.

Where are you keeping the boat down in Oregon?

The admiral & I brought the boat back to Seattle from Tacoma yesterday... The Saturday weather isnt looking very good.

Bottom paint turned out great!

We'll have the boat at the St. Helens Marina, just a couple miles from home. I got luck and my neighbor bought a slip because the deal was too good to pass up, and he doesn't have a boat. Got a great deal on rent.

We had our first cruise of the season about 2 weeks ago. We will have our first overnight of the season out on a hook tonight. Good times! :D

We launch this coming Saturday, weather permitting. Still have some odds and ends things to fix this week, but the majority of things are done.

Launch went great, it rained like a bandshe, blew like crazy but we were warm and dry under the top. My original moorage didn't work out, the slip had a pole support that took up too much of the slip and we didn't fit. Rented a slip at the moorage next door and it is a much better slip for just a couple more bucks. No for the lazy days of summer which around here starts July 5th ;)
