Frustrated with local dealer support!!

Local WM and Boatersworld both have them. Well Boatersworld might not since they are going away. So does pretty much all of our local canvas places.

Ryan at Winnisquam here. I just sent your picture to the factory asking for help to see what they can come up with. I will also make sure that we don't have any around from doors that we might have replaced. I also asked for information on who produced the door if the factory can't get anywhere and I will contact them directly...

Thanks for your help. I talked to the factory (CSR) last year when it broke, and he had one heck of a time trying to find the manufacturer of the part. He could find the door itself, that he thought included the latch, but he was not even sure then.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Man, I know what you mean. I dont deal with my local "dealer" much at all anymore.

I was messing with Ryan about a week ago over some literally 1.00 hardware for my boat. Silly, but its true. He helped me and actually Terry over there spoke with me on the phone...directed me to Lowes to get the hardware I needed.

I can get the part you looking for from Four Winns!!! I emailed someone at Four Winns that is very good at finding little parts like that with your picture attached and he responded back to me the same day.

Your cost is $14 plus my cost on shipping which is a few bucks on something like that. A small part like that I need to have sent to me in a larger parts order from Four Winns which I do weekly and then I will just ship it to you. Happy ending to my part of this story.

Got the door latch in the mail from Ryan at Winni yesterday. Thank You so much for taking care of this.

I never thought I would get the correct part. I appreciate your efforts.

As far as dealers go, I am not currently looking for a different boat to buy, but am continually browising what is out there. I did get a call last night from my salesman at our local FW dealer, just checking up on me to see how the season was going, and to let me know of a couple of boats they have I might be interested in (someday). That was nice I thought. I know he is just doing his job, trying to sell a boat, but there was no pressure, and it was just a "keep in touch" type of call.

Glad you got what you needed. My hats off to the guys at Winni also, they helped me troubleshoot and fix a depth finder issue I was having.
