Mike, the Boathouse was the ones that told me that, and said they called the factory about it also. I was very instant about having one, but I only wanted a factory Volvo unit. The Volvo throttle and Trim control were new in 08' and at the time I ordered my boat a factory transom remote was not developed yet. This was one of the things they were supposed to do when they closed up shop on us. Thanks for the reminder I might get one at B&Bs open house this weekend.

It is the standard FW flag pole that I added to the order. It was a bit pricey for just a flag pole, but it seems pretty robust.

Heminole, what's the story on that tongue jack? That didn't come stock did it? I don't have thru-hulls, but if I did I'd want them to look like yours.

That is the jack that came with the trailer. I'm not particularly impressed with it. The clip to hold the handle against the body isn't reliable and the travel isn't enough to lift the tongue off my truck with an 8" drop bar. I have to pull out the Hi-Lift jack everytime I drop off the boat. This wasn't an issue with my dad's boat on a Prestige trailer. I don't get the big plastic wheel either, at least it won't rust.

Sorry for the rant, but from a design engineer working on current product quality and reliability, it doesn't cut it. Maybe it was a great cost reduction idea...

Edit: Not so fast my friend on the cost reduction, it's over $100 retail from wholesalemarine.com. If it just had more travel, I'd be happy.

Interesting, I didn't know those jacks had that problem. The one that came on mine is junk IMO, but at least I can't say it isn't tall enough.
