Week of 6/7 through 6/13

Had son #3's wedding on the 7th, at Church Landing in Meredith, on Winni. Also made it a family reunion for the following week. We rented a house on the lake, on lower-western shore of Center Harbor and had all of the Michigan family (and local, as well) stay for the week.

Weather was not anything to brag about, but got out a few times on the boat.

Looks like a very nice place. Glad you were able to get out. It has been a lousy spring for boating here in Michigan. As a result, we have not been out much either. Boat will be back on the market...........again........in a few weeks. Just not getting the use and enjoyment out of it like we have in years past.

Hopefully the rest of the summer will have better weather at least.

I see you were eating at one of my favorite spots. I love eating on the roof deck overlooking the no wake zone. I haven’t been there yet this year.

That's very awesome that you rented that beautiful house.... That lake looks like a very nice place to visit. Congratulations to you and your family on the wedding. Looks like everybody had a blast! Please wish the happy couple all the best from your extended family here on the forum!

What a setting! Scenes like that make me want to visit the Northeast again.

Yes, had a great time .... even if the weather was not always 100% boating friendly. Really, it only rained twice (I think). Still went out, with full canvas.

For those of you who do not know Lk Winnipesaukee, it is about 20 miles long and has hundreds of islands. My brother-in-law (from Detroit area) noted that it was about the size of Lk St. Clair (in length), but is only about 5 miles wide at the widest point. However, it is MUCH deeper at a max of over 200'. Most of the water is over 40' and while moving along, you regularly see 100+'.

Fully surrounded by nature .... it truly is beautiful!

One of the villages, on Winni (Meredith .... where we had the wedding):
