Hello,
Back in May we bought a 1997 245 Sundowner Limited, VP 5.7 Gi/Sx. We are in Michigan, keep the boat across the state so we have been out on it for 3 weekends so far. It only had 60 hours when we bought it. Between the sea trial and first 3 weekends we have already exceeded the yearly average of 5 hours and hope to get a lot more.

The limited package that year (don't know if it was available other years or not) included all options except for shore power, pump out, enclosed head and transom shower. Boat has ran great, no problems except for the bimini was damaged when the dealer towed it across the state. I'll post some more questions about parts later.

I know I've gotta post pictures around here so here they are:

Welcome. Nice choice in boats. A 245 SD is probably our next boat as well.

Very nice boat, looks very clean! We have a 225 and LOVE it. We were rafted up with a 245 over Memorial Day weekend...the extra few feet is very nice.
