Nice looking boat. I am sure it has a way to shut the exhaust off? Nothing is more annoying than some small "unit" guy looking to draw attention by his loud boat. Open it up when you are out on the lake. By the way...that boat will weigh a lot more than your current one. What will you tow it with?

Yes, they are local here and used to be very popular. They went out of business for a few years and with the past two years have been brought back to life. Glad to see that in this area.

From what I can tell the boat weighs 4200lbs and about 800-900 for the trailer + gear and fuel brings it up around 5500lb or so. My Trailblazer can tow 6000lb., but that is pushing things to close for long hauls so I would be keeping it at a local marina.

Ran across this one on craigslist. Looks like a nice boat too plus it has the 7.4. I haven't priced out these boats so I don't know how their price is but there's always some wheeling and dealing to do.

Saw that one on Boats.com I think. Think as of right now we are going to keep ours until 1. I get a bigger truck and 2.we are in a better money situation to be able to get a slip. Daycare is a killer!!!

I used to see ALOT of Powerquests and actually applied for a job there a long time ago as a boat builder (didn't get it). I have heard good things about the old PQ, but haven't really heard anything abount the "new" PQ boats.

If you are going to a cuddy from a bow-rider, I would definately find someone with a FW cuddy to take you for a ride before you jump the FW ship. My 195 cuddy cuts the chop REALLY well and has almost none of the "pounding" that you expect. I REALLY like the ride and the kids really appreciate it as they dont get "beat up" when they are out in it (dad has a tendency to "find" the big waves, what can I say...it's a talent).

The FW Sundowner series are REALLY nice and you can usually find a good deal. I actually saw a 225 sundowner in Michigan for sale WITH THRU-HULL exhaust. Go fast, be loud, ride in style, how kool is that. Plus it was $6200.00. You can't beat that deal!

Just my .02
