We all have a user name or (handle ). I was just wondering what the reasons for choosing your user name were?
For me the name Ardy is a nickname that started years ago, because when my younger brother was 3 years old he couldn't pronounce Andrew and called me Ardy instead. Anyway it stuck and I prefer it anyway
Anyone else??

Being ex-mailitary, mine is an acronym. Walt actually breaks down to W.A.L.T. (-ER). W-eapon system A-utonomous L-and T-actical (E-xtended R-ange). This was part of a program in the 80s to build systems that could operate independantly without guidance, direction or spelling errors. This eventually led to the Predator and other drones in use today. The cost became to prohibitive for mass production, and was considered a waste of taxpayer dollars to simply destroy. Thus I was realeased into the work-place in an attempt to re-coup some of the expeditures through payroll taxes.

Mine is the same one I use for my Truck forum. I don't want to remember multiple screen names so all my forums I use the same name.

Unlike W.A.L.T. I'm not quite as creative. (Very funny BTW  ) I coached girls fastpitch softball for 16 years so my handle was always "Sftball". When I stopped doing that I just decided to use my occupation because I don't like using my name. Like Troy, I don't like a lot of different screen names so I use the same one all the time.

Troy....you on Ford F-150.net or just NHTOC?

I'm on NHTOC the most but you can sometimes find me on Lightningrodder and NLOC also. I frequent the truck clubs more in the winter and the boat club more in the summer. LOL But NHTOC and Ifourwinns just about daily.

I am a guy and I used to live in Dallas. I now live just a little bit north of Dallas. I have used that name on forums etc...for probably 8-9 years.

..mine comes from the user name all over from other forums, it is the vanity plate I have had on my 1st generation DSM for the past 10 years.

However I just sold the car, because I enjoy the boat more!

Rhojo is short for Rhonda & Jon.

I never know when the Admiral will be looking and/or posting on this forum so I wanted our sig. to reflect both of us.

I'm the go-to guy of the village we live in... If somebody needs something fixed or is looking for something they usually stop at my garage first before heading to town. I can usually get them set up with something that will work. I also keep driveways clear in the winter with my tractor, every friday night is boy's night in my garage (bring your own beer), the kid's love all the toys I have assembled for my daughter .... Plus Millhaven is home to one of Canada's largest Maximum Security Prisons (It's lights glow just over my backyard's horizon) so there aren't too many "nice guys" around.

Used the handle since my old days on the ih8mud LandCruiser forum...

Cougar - because I graduated from Washington State Univeristy (the Cougars)
Cruiser - I owned a 1997 LandCruiser at one point....

Just works for me.

When I was a teenager also college days I used ski race (Snow) competitively including Down Hill event as well as SL and GS. Many of my friend started calling me (or picking on me) “Flying Sushi” since I love speed and I am from Japan. (but not going back there FYI.)
Also back in late 80s when I was racing Cars (Formula Ford and IMSA) my fellow drivers also started calling me “Flying Sushi” for same reason…..
I take it must be natural so the name stuck with in my head...
For boating I love to relax and speed is not factor for enjoyment…. No need for Baja…….Love FW.

That's what we named our boat. We decided on the name for a couple of reasons, one being because it seems that's how we've gone about a majority of our major purchases since marriage including the new boat. We went to the boatshow, as we had done before, to look and ended up making a purchase at the show. We were actually headed to an RV show that weekend when we found out it was another weekend so we ended up at the boatshow. We (mainly I) had been talking/exploring getting a boat for a couple of years anyway, I guess it's just the purchasing process with us.
