For those of you who have been curious what happened the the 2007 brochure 260 Horizon...I have it!
We purchased it in January this year as a new boat...no it had never been sold by Four Winns. Had full enclosure canvas made for it...added heat for the fall cruising, trim tabs, electric hatch lift, and a few other goodies.
I added a float charger for the batteries (see shore power cord in pics?), inverter for the blender and wife's hair dryer, remote for stereo (look below sink in cockpit).
Pics are at my dock in Chelan...enjoy!

KSJ08:

I know you are only kidding about the line but let me explain. The boat is moored in Lake Chelan, WA which is 170 miles ptp from my home during the week (1/10 mile from my weekend house). It gets real windy over there from time to time and I am on a flaoting dock as well. The annual moorage people (I am one) there have learned that to tie up this way to reduce the effects the wind and swells have on our boats...at least the port side tie boats. The starboard side tie boats tie up differently becasued of the wind/waves. Then there are extra lengths on my fenders...somehow I have lost a fender or two over the years while at dock. I would like to think they came loose and flaoted away but who knows who walks by and decides they need an extrra one? The way I set them up I have yet to lose another one.

Muuuhaahaa, there is a method to my madness!

Oh, btw, there is a live webcam that you can see my 260 H real time in the marina.

http://www.golakechelan.com/!2006/LakeCam/

select: DM-marina-L in the presets scroll left a tiny bit and zoom in... sailboat is on my starboard, Larsen on my port

Sweet 260! I cruise on the California Delta quite a bit so nice to have a 260 when the wind blows!
