How is that Sea Ray?? We are between a SR 280 and a FW 288, (for trailerability) ?
Love it. Perfect size for us. Have been really happy with it. I've had some problems pop up but really like the build of the boat. Had to have both water pressure sensors on the motors swapped out as they were not giving any readings on my smartcraft system. Done under warranty and took 10 minutes. My port shifter seems to be a bit difficult to engage compared to the other. Marina service department will look into it at the end of the season when they pull it out rather than incur a separate haul out charge assuming it doesn't get worse.
The only issue that has caught me off guard just began occurring. Seems like I'm having a fuel starvation issue in my port engine at higher rpms causing it to drop down to low rpms then back up and so forth. Runs and starts fine. Thought it may be fuel filter which was changed but hasn't corrected. Maybe fuel pump or throttle position sensor? Service dept. is looking at it today. I think the list of possible causes is too long for me to figure out. Hopefully a code can be found.
That 280DA is a very popular boat. They are everywhere.
