Need to remove instrument pannel tosend in to c.d.i for repairs and have no idea where to start. what to remove to get to the hardware that secures pannel to helm. And allso heard of some type of replacement or upgrade type of instruments, can any one tell me more, I dont like the stock pannel at all but the newer horizon boats have a real nice looking dash with seperate gauges that is what I would like to put in there. Is this possible to do. and how hard.

Believe there is a option to replace dash with one that holds individual vdo gauges instead of the stock unit so you don't have to worry about future problems.

Hopefully someone will have more info

Not sure if this part number will fit your boat, but I think it might.

Here is the thread it came from. Hope this helps.

The gauge cluster on a 1999 220h does not have the wrap around style in the pics, it is flat with no curve. is there a part number and pics any where. Thanks for all the help from every one.

The flat panel in part number 025-3118 or was correct as of a couple of years ago when I bought mine. According the the Four Winns invoice it is "Panel, Inst. Retro 98-01 'Sport/Funship", so it sounds correct for you. There are several old threads on this forum with pictures etc. I just dumped my pictures or I would include them.

You should do what everyone else has, call Four Winns and confirm the part # is correct. They will send you pictures, if you really think you need them, to confirm it is correct.
You are making this more difficult than it really is. Here is the original post for the cluster you need, from 2006. Read it all, and your questions should be answered.

The only thing that is making this more difficult than it should be is that I have tried calling and emailing fw many times over the past month and have had no responce at all. I just this morning got a reply from the only local fw dealer in the area and they want 850.00 for the part and THINK IT WILL FIT. You are correct it is more difficult than it should be but it is not me making it that way. FW HAS A REAL PROBLEM GOING ON.

Yes, it's called Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.......... They are limiting the number of people at the plant in all areas, to just the minimum needed to support the current business climate.
Many members here have been in contact directly with customer service(accessories) personel lately, it may take several attempts to get through, but they [b]WILL[b] respond.
Patience is a virtue, keep trying and you will get your answer.
