Lost an anchor and rode when the line came off a cleat and I did not have the bitter end secured in the anchor locker. (I dozed off and a friend in a near by boat warned me). A year later I anchored in the same area and when pulling up the anchor, your right my old anchor.

Just lost our anchor and rode this past weekend. I tied it up a little different and, what cha know, that was a dumb idea. Now I have to buy a new anchor and rode. Really sucks because I really liked that anchor and can't find the exact same one to replace it. Trying a new anchor, same concept just made a little different, hope it works as good as our old one.

Hmm. Let's see. At least two pairs of sunglasses (crazy turns on the Waverruner will do that, even when you have those "holder" strings around your neck), a few hats, brother-in-law's cell phone, and bits and pieces of my prop a few years back....

On our way to Aquapalooza (with 9 boats behind and next to us) we were zipping across the lake...my wife lost her hat. Normally we would have gone back, but at that speed and with boats behind and next to us, it would have been a dangerous...and probably, lost cause.
