Well we pulled the trigger and we'll soon be the happy owners of an 07 Four Winns 190 Horizon. The Sea Test went great, couldn't find anything wrong with the boat. Actual hours are 18.2, no damage or scrapes to the hull or the outdrive. He'd only had the boat out twice, once each the past two summers. My friend, who's own 4 boats gave it a detailed look and agreed it was as good as showroom. Just need a fluff & buff and it will look good as gold.

It was tough to come back in, weather was calm with a slight breeze, but busy out on the Columbia River here in the Tri-Cities.

That's our plan Dennis, as soon as we get the paperwork all taken care of the friend that went with me to inspect the boat is going to take me out for a day and practice launching and retrieving at a couple area boat launches, and then take it out and teach me the finer points of driving the boat and learning the Columbia. Sometime in October we'll wrap it up till next Spring.

cougarcruiser we have a soft spot for the Cougs, at least we both hate the Huskies. Living in the Tri-Cities I get plenty of razzing from my Rotary friends about being a Duck too. Figured we needed to fly the Duck Avatar and support the NW Teams... at least 3 of them :)

This is a nice package - you won't be disappointed. Even after 3 years use, I would happily go out and buy the same again!

It sucked sitting around home today, I wanted to go boating. Oh well maybe if things work out right next weekend.

A question for folks, the lettering the previous owner has on the boat doesn't appear to follow the regs of being a contrasting color. Do you think this is a problem, should I plan on getting new lettering? I'm guessing the State of WA will assign the same letters, but I'm not 100% sure.

Around here nobody would say anything about them, but that can vary from place to place. They sure don't contrast very well, but they do look nice.
