I have a 2000 248 vista and am woundering if anyone has used the Jabsco Electric Conversion 37010-0092. This is the conversion that has the pump straight out of the back of the toilet as opposed to the conversion that bolts on to where your manual pump would be. I am woundering if this kit comes complete with everything I need to convert my manual head to electric and how easy it is to install

Thanks,

I have been researching an electric pump upgrade for some time now. The jabsco conversion is $400.
Too much for me.

I posted on another thread a link to ebay, an option that bolts up to our manual jabsco heads for $200, this the route I am thinking of going. Do a search.

I have it on my boat.

The previous owner installed it, and looks like the only hard part was getting 12V to it. I just took it off and rebuilt it a few weeks ago, and it was a piece of cake. They recommend keeping the manual plunger in case of power failure, if you remove the four bottom bolts and the water lines you can have it swapped back to manual in under 15 minues. My wife and 5 year old use it just fine, it is a bit loud though. Its the next best to a VacuFlush head, although I've never used a manual head so I'm not to sure how hard they are to use.
