I am looking to get a radar arch for my 268 sometime next spring. Does anybody have any advice on what to get. Is fiberglass available in an after market or is my only option an aluminum one?

dont know of anything aftermarket. If you do go with the factory one, depending on the year of you boat, you will need to replace the entire camper canvas and poles. That along with the arch, that upgrade would get pricey.

We have a 2008, V248 and will be adding one this winter. I am going with an Alantic Tower, their custom design. I hope to purchase it this week at the Norwalk CT boat show; if their price is discounted enough that is.

Radar only with a mounted Nav/Anchor light on top. It's a smooth sweeping arch that will look similar to the one on the 2009 V258.

Thanks. I was pretty sure AT only made tube arches (made from metal tubing welded together) and not a one piece solid arch like what most OEM builders equip their cruisers with.

I'll post photos when it's instaled; hopefully early November.

Four Winns is offering a tubular wakeboard arch on the 2010 V285 as well as the out of proportion one piece arch that was offered on the (then) V278. I hope the tubular arch is not so hideous as the conventional one, it's way to tall for a boat with the V278 beam and freeboard IMO.

I'm sure the price you got from AT is much better than what FW would charge for their 2010 tubular arch. May not fit an older V268, or your 08' V248 anyway.

As promised here are a few photos of the new Arch; it was installed today just in time for shrink wrapping.

I am presently looking to modify the instrument panel to allow for a larger chart plotter. My plan is to place the new chart plotter in the existing dash by removing the speedometer and relocation the two smaller gages to that vacated location; I never use the speedometer anyway. Does anybody know where I can purchase a similar material to the instrument panel that Four Winns used in the 2008 V248. It is just a ¼ “ thick flat black plastic board I would prefer a “wood grain” appearance but if all I can get is black that will have to do . Thanks for any help any one can provide.
