Is there any way to purchase Four Winns parts -- as listed on the factory website -- other than the local dealer. I bought my boat (used) on the other side of Florida and while that dealer is nice, I am both far away and they are very busy (read that as they have been more than a bit slow in responding). The local dealer, somewhat near me, is not very good at all. Any thoughts????

I order directly from Four Winns. The parts guy (Greg) has been more than accomodating and I get stuff at "their" price and not some crazy marked up stealership price.
Heck, last time Greg even sent me a part for free (common problem on a common part). +1 for dealing directly with Four Winns! 8)

They've always told me I have to go through a dealer.

Are you serious??? I have called Four Winns direct in Cadillac, Michigan several times for prices/availability of parts and they have been nothing but really really nice on the phone and willing to take a few minutes to talk. And like i said, Greg even shipped me an ignition set N/C. I have the direct phone # right into Four Winns Parts Dept at my desk at work and I dont get back until Monday. I will post it. 8)

I have had good luck with customer support and parts over the phone but any purchases had to be made through a local dealer. I usaly just call him and give him the part #s to order. He appreciates not having to look them up.

Yeah, I worked with the same guy he is nice.

The sent me a cockpit cover for a wrong year, and incorrect fasteners,
he sent the correct ones (free) and was pretty nice.

They get things right eventually :D

is the number and you can ask for accessories, but I just called about a mooring cover.. and all they could give me was suggested retail price and told me to goto my dealer for better pricing details and order from them.

I have a 1995 Horizon 200 and I need the replacement guage setup for the VDO unit. The Four Winns website only starts at 1996. Any idea how to run down this assembly?
Also, can you still call Four Winns direct and deal with them instead of a dealer?

I got excited when I saw a moderator was working on being able to order parts from a website. Then I saw the date. Guess we're going to the stealer!

Maybe so. I really hate the gauge pack in my boat and I have seen that others have been able to get a very nice replacement for them. I tend to think that they didn't get it from Four Winns, but from another supplier (Faria, etc.).
Also, I would like touch-up paint, etc. I wonder what Four Winns supplies for pre-1996 products.
