I'm in need of cockpit carpet (3 piece) and cockpit table and leg for a 2007 288 Vista. Anybody selling?
If you only have the engine piece to the cockpit carpet, that is truly what I am in need of--but I am willing to take the whole set if that is what you are selling.

If you can get me a template of any or all of the carpet peices, I can get you a some carpeting made up. PM me if you have any specific questions, or check out http://www.corinthianmarine.com . If you're looking for used carpet, this sight is probably your best source...

Thanks, I have already checked these guys out, and talked to them on the phone. For a full set they were about $500-600. I will probably have them make just the engine piece, which is the largest piece...maybe about $300-350. I have time...I am not doing any serous boating for the next couple of months, hopefully something will pop up on the Forum or e-bay. Once again thanks for the help :)

You may want to have it quoted locally to have the carpet's made. A V288 owner in our marina had a local shop make templates of his old carpet, and then made new identical replacements with marine grade carpeting for $250 for his V288. They look great and the price and delivery was excellent. Just a thought.

I am having the same place do our cockpit carpet this spring.

Thanks, 250 would be great...I'll check with my Marina Manager. See if can recommend someone and get an estimate. I guess I am used to getting the best deal on line…
By the way has anybody seen those “Teak wood pattern rugs” they are putting in newer boats? I have only seen them on line; I wonder how they really look in the boats?

I want to replace my factory carpet with the teak pattern. I love how it looks, and it would match my swim platform.

FW wants a fair chunk for a new cockpit carpet set. I need to template my existing and see what Corinthian can do.

I just went to Menards (hardware store) and bought some nice indoor/outdoor carpeting that we liked. I copied the existing cockpit carpet, and then had the edges bound at a local carpet store. It doesn't have the black rubber backing though that can fall apart. For the price it cannot be beat.

I just received two local quotes both between 600 and 650. Berber--a little more. I am scheduling an appointment to see some “teak wood pattern” rug. I’ll bring my camera and post picks if anyone is interested. More to follow…

I'd be curious to see a photo of the teak pattern carpet your marine manager stocks. I can also send you a sample if you want too. We are the manufacturers of it.

I saw a few boats with teak pattern carpet at the Portland boat show last weekend and it looked awesome.

The teak rug was a "no-show" at the St. Lucie Boat show last week, even though I called them and asked them to bring samples--I guess they just don't want my business. I did get a quote from my Four Winns dealer, 614.00 for the complete 3 piece set. I assume it (the rug) is coming from four winns. I have also done a lot of research on installing a Flexi-Teak floor vrs a Rel-Teak floor. Even if I install them myself it is just too expensive. Just for my swim platform I am looking at $600...ouch.

You should have posted the exact size of your floor so we can suggest of the best carpet for it. Anyway, Shaw carpets are on of the best as considered by the consumers and buyers. They are the leading carpet factory where you can choose different designs suited for your moods.

You should at least post some exact size for your carpet. This could help us searching for some similar or possible carpet that would be fitted on your needs. Or, you can try searching on carpet stores online.
