That is Coralville Lake Reservoir. It is about 35 miles north of Washington. Right by Iowa City and Coralville. We typically Boat at Lake Red Rock by Pella but I was picking the boat up that day from Coralville Lake Marina. What brought to Washington?

I had a friend in Wash at the time. Many friends in DM. Been in Pella for work and saw Red Rock when it was up this spring. Beutiful scenery!

These pix have a bit more meaning now....Checking the due date of our baby and counting backwards 9 months....Maybe I should change the name of the boat to;

Didn't need the blue pills
My boys can swim
Special delivery
The Stork

I can't wait until the awkard teen years when the kids is driving the boat. I'll have them stop in the middle of the lake and "tell them a story" :wink:

OK - one last shot on the way to haul-out and hibernation. Let's call this 'Last Call.'

Keeping in line with the 'everybody loves pictures in the winter' theme, I thought I would revive an old thread for some more eye candy. Good running shots are obviously rare if you don't stay after your boating friends to send you the pix they shot. I was just sorting through a folder of a cruising buddy's pictures from the summer and came across this... It's my only good running shot with the new dink.

I am going to backward in size....All though this boat has been great to us, I miss traveling to different lakes.

I have a feeling though when my life is coming to end, and I look back on it, I will ALWAYS regret ever selling my 258 Vista. It was a great all around package.

BUT, a big BUT....I think I want to go back to another performance boat for a couple of years!
