So it basically ( pin numbers taken at random);
Pin 1; 0V, engine ground/ -ve terminal of battery 1
Pin 2; 12V ( from battery 1 +ve terminal)
Pin 3: 24 V ( from battery 2 +ve terminal, (battery 2 wired in series with battery 1.)

With Battery 2 not being charged by the alternator

Where would said trolling motor be mounted - the swim platform? Should be some scuff marks if so.
