My original problem was the same as yours but now that I got the boat out of storage this new problem came up. Yes it cranks once and then nothing. Typically if the battery is bad or not getting gas etc. you can continue to crank the unit but it will not turnover. My case is that it will only crank once and then quits. I did check the battery conections and all is well there. I do not think my until has a display for codes.
