The boat was unwrapped last week and we finally got out to wax it.

The Admiral and I were able to get both sides from the water line up to the deck as well as the swim platform area.

We used Mother's Cleaner Wax (no endorsement intended) and I must say that stuff and the Power Ball worked great.

Please notice the glossy reflections. She was very proud of her work. As smooth as a baby's butt!

We are scheduled to have her in the water this Thursday.

Let the season begin :D :D :D

Looks great! I picked mine up last Thursday, but probably won't get it wet until next month.

Hey, I've been in that boat! Looking good captain. FYI, I have moved from the River to the Big Lake and will be at 59th Street if you make the reverse trip from Heritage Harbor this year.

It looks like we may be out on the lake mid-July. I will keep that in mind.

We had a beautiful day (not too hot and slightly cloudy). It took us about 6 hours to finish the project. Better that I actually expected.

According to the Admiral, it would have gone faster if I stopped taking pictures. She was tired of hearing "Wax On -- Wax Off" but the end. :)

Looks really good. I usually try to wait until it's 102F and 90% humidity to do mine.

Don't worry Mike, I'm sure we will do another waxing in those same conditions later in the season. It's a right of passage.
