Thankfully my 298 Vista doesn't have "that smell" but my motoryacht did and I never could get that funky smell out. Whenever my wife was pregnant, she would start gagging just coming down the dock knowing what was headed her way (no pun intended). I thought it was probably the waste lines but the boat was only 4 years old and I even did the wet rag wrapped around the lines test and didn't really notice anything major. I would never buy a boat again that had an odor because it will drive you crazy trying to get rid of it. Needless to say Pine-Sol was a mainstay.
