We recently bought a 220 Horizon SS and my wife wants to make a trip to Chicago this summer to soak up the views from the water of the downtown skyline and also tour the Chicago River and nearby canals. We would be trailering the boat from Iowa so we would need to find a public boat landing. It would also be nice to dock it overnight and spend some time on shore in the downtown area. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how we could make this a memorable trip?

Thanks!!!

Look at the Chicago Loop Cruise website. They do it every year. I did it with them last year, and am going to make the trip with a few Four Winns and maybe a Sea Ray or two in July. We are getting slips in Hammond, IN.

It is a VERY nice trip, the day we did it last year it was rainy all day, but still a great trip.
