Hey guys....I have come across a very good deal on a cruiser that I am going to hopefully go look at later this week. With that in mind, it is time to give some serious consideration to selling our boat.

Based on what you have seen, what you feel, what do you think this boat could/would sell for in todays market?

2008 H200 SS, 5.0L with 85 hours. Snap in carpet, swim platform mat, cockpit and bow cover, bimini top, dual axle trailer, always garage kept and washed after each use. Will be with 8 Polk db651 speakers and amp, onboard charger, 2 batteries with perko switch, 6 LED strips.

Low 30's should attract a buyer. This one is not as feature packed, and only has single axle trailer for comparison. But It may be a new/leftover.

I would probably run a NADA price on it to get a baseline and then price yours on the high end of that number. You can also look on Boat Trader for comparables. I am sure yours is in excellent condition with lots of extras. Good luck!

If it helps at all I sold mine last July with exact same features minus the Polks and I had a single axle trailer. Mine had 138 hours when sold I believe and was a 2007. Sold it for $25,200. And to my surprise sold it pretty quick on Craigslist. I might have got lucky as the people who bought it were specifically looking for a Horizon with the SS package and they only live about 60 miles from me. They even still bring it up to the lakes we boat on.

There is a dealer near me that has a brand new leftover 2008 200SS here is the listing. Not exactly sure it has the same options as yours

Not intending to hijack your thread, but is Lake Lewisville where you will do your boating? Asking because I boat primarily on Lake Houston and the shallow water kills me with my H220. We want to venture north to your area for deeper water, Travis, Lewisville, Possum Kingdom.

Yes, Lake Lewisville will be the place. No, we dont really have issues with shallow water. The majority of the lake is 20-25 feet deep, with some areas about 50-55

Keep in mind...you might need to give a little on the sale of your boat, but you should make up for it on the deal on the new...

Yep, I am fine with that. I am going to take a bath on my current boat. Its fine with me as long as I get what I want and I buy it right. I have 2 different boats on my radar screen and I hope to get to see one this week.
