Put together a family video from Thursday. Just the normal running out to the reef and messing around with the wife and kids. Thought my fellow Four Winns peeps would appreciate it

Nice; what's the water temperature there now? Even in mid June we have 11 deg.C (52 deg. F) here. Even with our wetsuits, we're not really tempted to jump in yet!

Looks like a great time! Is that a waterproof camera, or is it in a waterproof casing?

I showed this to my kids and nearly caused a riot. They are waiting for me to get the boat ready for the water, but they're going to have to wait about another week or so.

Very nice! Love the clear water. Question for you guys who boat in the ocean though. Ever worry about sharks? Damn things scare the crap out of me.

Nope...you're far more likely to get injured driving your boat to the ramp than you are to come across a shark.

Glad you guys liked it. The best thing about putting together videos is watching them makes me want to get back on the boat and head out again!

Water is about 85 deg. F. out on the reef. In the winter it gets down to about 78 deg.

Good times for sure! :D I use a Sanyo Xacti HD1a in a Epoque EHS-510H housing. Relatively cheap setup for SCUBA video too.

We get to see sharks quite a bit! We look forward to the encounter and they always leave us alone. This time, the biggest thing we saw was a 4 foot barracuda and we even had a bag of chum in the water, but no sharks.

I need to move, surface temp is low 70's. We pulled out the snorkel gear yesterday and can see about 10' down but not 2 inches in front of your face. Very disorienting.

I was eyeing a Kodak model but did some checking on reviews and they weren't positive.
