i just have a few last projects to finish up, and im hoping maybe some of you guys have done this before and have ideas...
first off. the floor needs help...
when we bought the boat, the floor around the anchor locker was all rotted (think from the rug). we cut out the rot, replaced the stringer and re-glassed it. then cut a piece of marine plywood to fit in the hole and put it in. glassed everything, but never did anything to finish it off. the floor is pretty ugly, and i want to fix it. my idea is to get some white pigmented epoxy/fiberglass, put down pieces of cloth to cover the cut marks/holes in the wood, glass the whole thing, and then have a snap out rug on top. any ideas/suggestions on this?
next one is painting the outside, but dont think thats too hard. sand down to smooth, tape everything off, spray paint.
last thing is finish off the drive, so replace bearing/shift cable/drive water hose. paint the whole thing. hopefully will go easily....
i found some LED baitwell lights that actually throw a decent amount of light, so gonna buy a few of those and install them around the boat, and have my second subwoofer and speakers to install, but they can be done after its in.....
any advice/opinions would be great. thanks!
