Sort of an update....

My offer has been unofficially accepted. The status is the shop where tis stored at is backed up and we are still waiting for them to provide the owner a "punch list" of things that need to be addressed to make it ready for the water again. It for sure needs the port side outdrive to be resealed, oil changes in the engines, generator etc....when they get that handled, we should be able to move forward...hopefully in the next week.

As for the name, my wife insists on the same name as our current boat...Nauti Luv...I wanted to change it to Nauti Luvin...

I will be happy to hand deliver it, along with the trailer, boat etc...right after you buy it, lol.

Well, I guess its just not my time to buy...

The survey on the hull/drives etc (stuff that can be checked while out of the water) was done this morning. Turns out the previous owner hit something so hard with the starboard side drive unit that the transom has a crack in it on that side, below the drive.

In addition to that, the port side engine is toast...shavings and water in the oil. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why I didnt pull the dipsticks on the engines when I was initially looking at it.

So, for now, we are going to enjoy Nauti Luv for a while longer. When the right deal presents itself...we will get back in the game.

Sorry to hear that. At least you found out about it now and not later.
