Is anyone going to the show?

I thought I might pop along and have a look at my boat! The dealer is borrowing it for the show, so I'll stand next to it shouting "wipe your feet, put that ice cream down" etc etc

Thought I might also see what other wallet-emptying goodies are to be had, no doubt I'll find a few things I never knew I needed!

Yep - I'll be there to see what new toys are on the market! I'll have to make sure I keep my hands in my pockets...

Good luck with the Boat Show there...the Summer Show here in Houston was horrible in my opinion.....absolutely no vendors selling anything to do with boats at all....go figure...they were selling sauna's, dry sauna's, swings, shoes-shirts-shorts, peanuts, etc.... Did have one booth that was selling wakeboards and pfd's and that is it.

No fishing gear, no tower equipment - really a dissapointment.

The Adelaide boat show is on in about 3 weeks time. I always go but the last couple of years I have ridden my bicycle to the boat show for two reasons
1) its way easier to park
2) I can't bring anything too big home
Hope this helps

Please do - that way i can send them in to the organizers of the local show....I enjoyed walking around Bass Pro Shop a lot more and it was free to get in....I know summer is there busy time, but they just had some dealers tow some boats in and stuck up some signs and that was it. Will be the last time they beat me for their entry fee and parking......and.....who in their right mind would buy a sauna in Houston in the summer???? Hell, step outside!!! It's only 100 degrees outside with around 90% humidity...I have a 83 Jeep with no A/C that kicks that things butt.

Went to the Boat Show on Sunday afternoon - awesome - 99% boats and boat stuff! Not a single sauna or hot tub in sight Tx!!

Didn't buy a new boat... spoke to the new FW dealer in Melbourne and sat in a Vista. Saw James Bonds Crownline there - nice boat JB. It convinced my wife we need stainless cup holders as well - I'm happy to oblige! No great deals on prices at the show - all just a few grand off list - nothing like the deal I got on mine at the time.

Spoke to friends of mine at Regal Marine - they were doing good business having signed up several Malibu and Tabs sales at the stand and lots of leads to follow up on. They told me they had a 2005 H190 in their yard - 5 years old and asking only 7K less than I paid for mine new!!

Seems like the boating market is still fairly bouyant here in Oz...
