We had a great weekend on the lake. Camped out Saturday and watched the fireworks! Had a HOT fun day on Sunday and camped that night too. Monday was another hot one but a very relaxing and enjoyable day.

Unfortunately it was not all good for some. We saw this boat at the ramp right before he headed out. He didn't make it too far before this happened. Fortunately he was ok and she only had minor burns. I took this short video right before she sank. Click on it to watch.

I hate Iowa...rained on Sat, Sun and Monday. Add to that the ridiculously high bacteria counts from previous rains and it wasn't good.

I really need to consider a change of locale.

Great pics guys! I'm looking to make up for things this coming weekend.

OUr weather up here wasn't the greatest either. Friday & Sat. were pretty good except windy, but not horrible. Sunday we had about 35 MPH winds out of the SW so it was really hot (great for boating), but we had whitecaps on the water so we stayed in. MOnday we had rain + wind so another no go. Good thing we had a good time on Fri & Sat!!
