Dont think you will see much goat roping there. Cudos to Sea Ray for picking a state that still has an economy to enjoy the water.

Although I didn't see any goat ropin' (lol).... I was there(Lake Travis Signature event) as I live in Austin... and it was awesome. I am not a huge fan of raftin' up, but at Aquapalooza

a. there was no choice, and
b. everyone withing a 100 boat radius was laid back.

I can honestly say that it was one of the most organized and fun events I have attended in a long time. They sure know how to throw a party... that's for sure. I met people from all over the US, most of them there just for that event.

A lot of the friends I made down there last year won't be going since they dislike the Tims 1 mud bottom location. I was thinking of bringing a few skis down and going with some people but since I found out about bumperbash, I'm going to check that out.

We went to the one on Travis this year and all I can say is WOW. Gorgeous lake, great time and the best organized event of that size I have ever seen. Sea Ray did one hell of a job and they released in a press conference yesterday an estimate 7,000 boats and 75,000 people....only 15 people arrested and nobody killed. I will call that a success. You could actually take a free water shuttle to shore and buy beer by the 12-18packs....freaking amazing!

I will be launching friday and staying tied up until sunday also. Muddy bottom is no problem for the amount of fun to be had during this event.
