for about $7000. It includes a step up ladder, bimini top, and the towing trailer with cover. Is this a good deal? I plan on taking it to a mechanic to make sure everything is working properly. It's my first boat and I just want to make sure I'm making the right purchase. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Ray

I just sold my first boat, a 1996 FW 170 Horizon. It has the 4.3 Volvo, w/ the sport rear seating. Mine was in perfect condition, and I sold it for 7000. Being that it is a 2001, I believe it is a good deal. If the inside/outside looks to be taken care of (no tears in the fabric, no big scratches on the hull, then I would say its been taken care of. This is a great first boat. The perfect size to learn on. Its easy to maneuver on the water, and behind your tow vehical. As long as everything is in good running order and in good shape, I would say jump on it. GL!
