I put new bunks on my last trailer a few years back. Used marine grade lumber and monel staples for the carpet attatchment. Stainleess bolts was the way I went, a little more $$ but worth it as far as I,m concerned. Once the project was done, it was done. When I sold the boat it looked like I had just completed the job a few days earlier.
