Please help if you know the answer. I have a 2005 268 Vista. It does not have a windless but there is a crome bracket on the front with a roller at the front of it. There is also a device to secure an anchor chain and stowe the line. I tried an anchor from my old boat but it didn't mount right and the chain was to small for me to feel the anchor was secure. One web site showed a 14 lb. claw anchor as the right one with 1/4 inch chain. Any guidance would be a great help. Thanks in advance

Correct. I have a 15.5lb stainless steel anchor. I have the original 14lb plow anchor that came with the boat if your interested.

Thanks for the offer, I was able to locate a plow anchor that seems to be working good. My 1st mate and I named your boat ( STAY THE COURSE).
