Hi all, slow at work and found your site. Thanks, seems like alot of knowledge hear. After 10 years on a whaler I finally talked my wife into a pocket crusier (248) over the winter. Took her for a sea trial in febuary 2010 east haven CT 30 degress, guy said we were grazy and we told him this is what we do (boating) and I wasn't buying without taking it for a ride. Awsome purchase. Droped it in Stamford CT in April and been on it every day since except for 2 rainy days. I know this because I had to take my wife to diner because we had nothing else to do and it was as much $ as a tank of fuel.
I've been reading posts for much of the day and wished i'd found your network sooner but didn't think about looking (to much rum).
1st, after work i'm gonna lift the mirror streight up as some one said, thats where my flat screen sits.
2nd, i'm gonna check the ancor hatch for leaks
also i found the smell (sumb pump) found a faulty wire, gonna be carefull of what goes down the drain or tee the sink out direct.
Any way i've learned alot in the last 4 hours of reading and want to say THANKS to all.
