Bryan,
I was bummed to hear that you sold the 378V, we had talked several times about it via email...we are hoping to find another one out there with the same set up as you were offering? Can you tell me, did the one you were selling have the SAT TV receive installed by the factory? Congrats on the sale, I would tell you to go get a 435 V, and sell it at the same price of the 378!! If you do call me, I will buy it!

+1. If you sell a 435 for the same price you sold the 378 for, I will buy one too!

Well I can see we are trying out to be comedians today!! hahahaahaha! First off thank you for the congrats... it was a great boat that we just brought at the wrong time in the market around here. The new owner is IN LOVE with the IPS and the Joystick. If we sold a V435 at V378 prices I would say we would be loosing just a tad bit of money! haha! Our boat did not have the sat tv installed.. but we are now Pros at installing that system! I am shocked at.... well not shocked but surprised that most of the choices would be for diesel inboards rather than fearless docking. Guess I'm a little more techy than the average boater. I totally agree on the range a diesel gets...just lost that bet with Dad!

For me anything over 35' I would opt for diesel. Pushing that much weight over time is just to tough on gas engines. Throw caution to the wind and go IPS diesel :D
My neighbor has a 45 Formula with IPS Deisel and it is something. The difference in torque at low speed is amazing.

Can't have IPS on a V375 (V358) from four winns... Know all about them having just demo'd our V378 to its new owner. Can't beat it. Which is why I love thats its the only package you can get on the two 40+ footers from FW.

Having tried out my buddies Cruisers 42 w/IPS I'm counting the days 'till my IPS boat. That being said I'd bail on the 378 and order a 355 and 375. I wouldn't touch a 378 now.. they seem so outdated in many places, especially the helm and bolt on swim platform... Go for inboards on the 375 (if they are still available that way) and axius on the 355 :)

Hi everyone,
We have a 2009 V358 (now called V375 in 2010) with Merc's 6.2L with the Axius joystick system.
I would strongly advise to stay away from the Axius because Mercury is nit greta to deal with working with the joystick is far from great.
I would go with Volvo IPS, this is the mistake I made when ordering the V358 :(
