Any owners on here from the Annapolis, West/Rhode Rivers, South River, Severn River, Kent Narrows, Magothy River, Chester River, St. Michaels, etc area? It'd be pretty cool to get a bunch of folks together and have a Four Winns raft-up one of these weekends. I know there are a lot of Four Winns in the area, but not sure how many are on these boards.

Would be cool. I can bring both of my FW boats and a 298. I've talked about it before on here but it has never come to fruition... There's a 378 owner that hangs in still pond every weekend, I can see if he's interested. Bill K might roll out with his 348, that's close to his home berth.

I'm up for it. Just need to find a free weekend and somewhat central meeting place.

So you're now a FW owner? If so, congrats! Only weekend that would be out for me would be sept 11 - that's bumperbash rehab at Hart Miller Island.

I'm probably jinxing myself....I'm not a FW owner yet but should be come Friday afternoon. Engine/drive survey is done and the hull survey and sea trial are scheduled for Friday morning. Assuming all goes well we'll be closing Friday afternoon.

Looking at free weekends...it looks like the first one that would work for us would be after Sept 11th. We're tied up through then with prior committments. Plus I need to learn how to drive a twin I/O before I go crashing into people....I mean rafting up with people. That'll give me a few weeks to figure it out.

How about Dobbins Island? Nice sandy bottom, you can just cut the motors and we'll walk you right in G/L with the deal!!

Dobbins is nice. About 40 minutes for us, up from Annapolis. Can't say when we'd have time to do it though. Weekends have been really busy with a lot of other activities lately. We'll be out this Sunday, but not Saturday due to local activities.

Let's shoot for Dobbins mid to late September. Just need to check the kids' sports calendar to make sure they don't have any weekend games coming up.

Mid to late Sept. works for me. Dobbins is around 45 min from the bush. 18th might not be the greatest though - our marina has a party and my buddy has fuel duty. I'll go to a raft up over the party but I'm not sure my friend will. I'll catch up with the 378 owner and see if he can make it down. I'll probably see some other owners labor day weekend that don't post here. Might be best to pick a date soon so people can commit. Keeping my fingers crossed we don't get all those noreasters that we got last year!

Aim for the 25th then? As of today that should work providing we look at an early afternoon meet time.

The 25th sounds good. I'll be on the phone with Riverside tomorrow, I can see if they are interested in stepping up in some fashion to sponsor or promote. Also, turns out my buddy's 298 has the 5.0s. So based on what they do, you'll have plenty of power!

Now that I'm officially a Four Winns owner I am happy to say that I am in for a raft-up at Dobbins Island on Sep 25th. Now we just need to round up some boats and owners and make it happen.

Sounds good! I see on your sig that you live in Bethesda and boat in Annapolis. I live in Annapolis (technically Edgewater, but close enough) and work in Bethesda.

Hate to say this, but I may not be able to make it on the 25th. The field hockey schedule came out the other day and my daughter has a game that afternoon. Bummer.
