Boat runs great when cruising BUT 2 problems, I think from some research that they are linked?

1. Temp gauge not working, does test swing to full and back but stays cold all the time (engine is warming up).

2. Hestation on accelleration if I open the throttle reasonably fast.

Temp sensor to ECU??

Thanks

Tom

Actually my boat hesitated real bad on acceleration when my spark arrestor was clogged.

I had no idea it was clogged, because I had just cleaned it a month before. But it seemed to have sucked a whole bunch of dog hair (gotta love black labs!) and cottonwood tree/dandelion flying fluffy things.

Cleaned it off once again, hesitation gone.

the gauge sensor and the one to the ECU are two different sensors.
