Hello... just wanted to drop a quick note to introduce myself. My wife and i bought a 2002 268 Vista back in July. We were a little nervous at first, as this was out first boat, but found a lot of people willing to lend a hand to help us out. She had 90 hours on it when we purchased it, and as of last night clocked in at 123hrs; she is definately being used. We attempt to go out every weekend, but its getting a bit tough as the little ones are in soccer. So if you see a blue 268 in the upper chesapeake, stop by and say hello; we could be found at Sand Island, Still Pond or cruising down from North East.

Steve

Welcome to the wonderful world of boating! And congrats on a fine choice for your first boat. You're in the right place for all your boating needs. I've been a boat owner for a few years, but a Four Winns owner for a week and I already feel right at home here. Not sure how far south down the Bay you want to venture, but we're trying to organize a Four Winns raft-up at Dobbins Island on the Magothy River on Sep 25th. Might be a great overnighter for you...down on Sat and back on Sunday.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! This forum is a great source of info, and there are alot of current and former owners of 268's here. We bought our 2005 268 in Feb, and absolutely love it! We are about to break 100hrs this season and have put on almost 800 miles in the last 2 weeks! Also a introduction on this forum is never complete without pic's of your boat :D
