So, after much research and 4 yrs later I finally bought a trailer.
Ordered just what you see in the pic, but edited a pic of my boat on it just to see what it would look like

Nice trailer! You will love it. I opted against the wheel upgrade so I'm jealous!

Sweet how much $$$ if you don't mind me asking. I know of a 318 owner who may be getting a trailer made for his boat.

Jeff, congrats, you will love your loadmaster. Did loadmaster give you a height on trailer figure???. Take care , Joe.

Joe,

13'9 to 13'10 to top of arch not counting electronics.
Won't be a problem for this year but I am looking into a folding arch mod for next year.
Think I found someone that can do it

I'm 13'10" to the top of the Glomex antenna so I need to be careful if I don't take it off. 13'4" to the top of the arch.

curious, did you guys go with electric drum brakes or electric over hydraulic disc brakes? Axles, did you go with the spring axles or the torsions axles?

Partycove, what was your quoted delivery on the trailer, and the extra bridgework on the top, is that something they recommended, or something you wanted added, i see they do the 18k both ways.

Cincy, does the boat self center on the trailer well. Seems like with the number of bunks it would do a pretty good job.

Thanks

I went with 6 wheel electric brakes, as far as the bridgework they told me anything carrying over 12000lbs requires the bridge work now for reinforcement, I think they used to do it both ways but now only with the bridge work. Mine will have medium spring suspension ( this will get the height a little lower) and they told me a 5 week lead time after deposit

Whew! I could picture it myself, it is a nice trailer, indeed! You had a good choice in purchasing your loadmaster! So, where did you buy it, I would check it myself too!

I went with 6 wheel all electric brakes and couldn't be happier. They do an amazing job stopping with integrated brake controllers. I would take these over surge brakes in a smaller set up any day. They use spring axles at Loadmaster. They have been just fine. I don't know if torsion would be any better or not. So far no complaints.

My boat centers perfectly. It really is as easy to load as my 260 was. Sometimes we have to back the truck down another foot or so to get those last couple inches of the bow to the roller because its useless to try and winch it up.

They didn't feel the bridge work was necessary on my boat which which probably tops out at around 11000 or 12000 loaded up. I never noticed one bit of flex in it. Mde the price cheaper. If memory serves I was around $6700 out the door.

I am thinking of building a trailer this winter for our Chap.... Eyeing up yours it appears to have 2" wide by 6" deep tube side rails and cross bracing every 3'. Is this correct? Are your axles over or under the springs?

It's actually C -channel steel. Not tubed. The axles ride on top of the springs.
