Have you gone to Silver Lake in Michigan with your Jeep? We went there for the first time a few weeks ago, and it is a Jeep playground. It is all huge sand dunes on Lake Michigan. Take the ferry...you will not be disappointed! I'm sure your Jeep will be a little more fun than our 3/4 ton Avalanche!!

We were going to try planning a fall trip over tyhere this year but too many thing got in the way. so I think it is in the works for next summer when the bugs get too thick in the woods.

Not necessarily my favorite view, but it is my new favorite pic. My parents took this picture in LOTO and had it framed as a gift for letting them borrow my boat for their several trips to the lake this year (must be rough being retired). It was taken out front of Plain Jane's Restaurant at the 51MM. I scanned it yesterday so I could make it part of my desktop and my iFW.com signature.

I sold the RX-7 and got out of autocrossing in 2009. Boating has been part of my life forever. With my own family now, it made sense to get more serious about boating again.

Jeeps are lot of fun, I used to have a 1990 Wrangle that would just about go anywhere. It just wasn't very practial as a daily driver.
