Hey Guys, can someone help me with this question.
As you can see below I have a 2009 V358 and recently (within the last 2 months) on start up my gauges will sometimes flicker a bit or not move at all and then within (usually 10-15 seconds) pop right up to their normal position and no issue from that point forward.
This occasional delay of movement or flicker only takes place at start up?

Can anyone help???

Thx

Have you asked your dealer ? Should be under warranty.

No I haven't done that yet but I assume it is out of warranty because the boat was delivered in May 2009

Well, I would certainly ask your dealer for his input/help. Do you have the GPS/Nav package ? Or all analog gauges ?
Are the gauges made by Faria?

I will check it out with the dealer for sure.
I do have the C80 Navigation Raymarine system.....not sure of the make of our gauges.

Denfor,

Most likely you have Faria gauges and they have been known to not be real reliable. Do you have the ones that have 4 analog gauges inside of one (fuel, temp, volt, oil pressure)? If so, the question would be is it all 4 gauges doing this at the same time or is it just 1 or 2 of them. If it's all of them check the ground to the gauge, if its just one of them pull it out this winter and send to Faria for calibration, I am told they will do this FOC.

I have to send in my port gauge to have the oil pressure and fuel recalibrated. Also last week my starboard oil pressure did exactly what you are describing

The Faria Marine gauges have a limited lifetime waranty. Also, if your boat is 2 years old or newer ( which the OP's is) they will calibrate and or replace the gauge at no cost to you. For gauges that are older, there is sometimes a nominal fee, often that fee is waived.
I suspect that there is a communications/ground fault somewhere in your system, and that the gauges are not defective. But you need to determine that first with the assistance of your dealer.

Hi there Partycove2,

Thx for your response, all my gauges a separate with needle movement to record status. Not sure what this is called but based on your description I would say they are not analog.

Automatic direct measurement of the flow of exhaust flow is difficult at this time. Instead of directly measuring the flow of exhaust flow for the replacement of one or more measures can be produced in discharge values. In most cases, the phase measurement is used as a substitute.
