I recently had the pleasure of tearing out the hanging locker on my Vista 268 to replace the holding tank vent hose and look into why my shower sump was not working. That thing is a bugger to get out. Turned out that the float switch in my shower sump was broken and the flanges for the hoses were broken. I searched on the Internet for just the broken parts but couldn't find them for sale. Long story short I wrote Attwood to see if I could purchase the individual components and they replied that they would send the parts free of charge if I paid 8 bucks for shipping. I was very impressed with a company standing behind their product and wanted to share with fellow boaters. Might help someone in making a choice for future replacement parts.

One of our finer Grand Rapids area marine industry companies. Glad they took care of you.

I've had great luck with them. On my Sea Ray they sent me a locking collar free of charge for my stern anchor light. They also had a nice pack of waterproof playing cards in there.

Because of that great CS... I always purchase an Attwood product if its available.

+1 for Attwood. Our transom shower head was found to be cracked after buying our "new-to-us" 258 Vista. The whole kit assembly is well north of $100 (all I could find from on-line dealers) so I contacted Attwood to see about buying the nozzle itself. No can do - they would only send one out to me - no charge.

A real stand-up company in my opinion.

agreed, Atwood is a great company, I thought their pricing was pretty reasonable, I got my shower sump and box for $100.

On my old Mariah bowrider...my sump pump base was cracked. I called up Attwood and they sent me a new one free of charge. Very good customer service.
