Heading to the Cleveland Boat Show today. Hoping this will break the winter blues. I will report when I return.

I'll probably go tomorrow.

Looking at the floor layout it looks like many dealers have more space than they did last year. Skipper Buds looks like they have a bigger area and not just a booth, like they did last year.

I don't see Twiggy listed anywhere, may be a deal breaker for the kids.

Hey Guys, would appreciate your feedback of what you thought of the show. I am deciding on whether to go next weekend or not. The show has gotten pretty small in the last couple years, hope it better this year with a line up of new boats to check out.

Thanks

The show was well worth it's while for me. I got a great deal on an air conditioner for the boat. As for the boats, I was pleased to see that there were many new and used boats for sale. The used ones seemed to have nice prices and were in excellent shape. Four Winns had a few new ones but it was so crowded around them I could not get a good look. Your not going to believe this but my favorite pick there, was a used Monteray. That 31' boat that was laid out. What I loved about it the most was two single beds in the aft cabin with a night stand in between. There was a lot of room both in the cabin and up above. On Saturday there were already several boats with sold stickers on them. That was a good sign given the show started the day before. You can get discount tickets at Marc's for $10.00 and I would say it's worth it just to get you pumped about going boating in the spring.

I'm glad you had a good time at the show, and were able to get A/C there as well. I think Cleveland has had used boats on display for a few years now. Some people don't like it, but I have always thought it was a good idea. The Monterey 322 was on our short list when we were looking. The one we looked at was sold before we got a chance to make an offer.
The mid cabin with dual berths is huge for a boat that size.

The Monterey 322 is setup with the dual beds like that....so cool.

I thought of you when I looked at this boat. You said when you bought yours is because you are cheap. You bought your boat because your smart. I hate to say this fellow Four Winns Owners. My next boat will be the 322 Monterey. Man I loved that boat and it was quality. I flipped out when I saw those beds. Loved it.

I went on Friday and was a little unhappy that there were no new Four Winns there. I got there right when it opened so I got a good look at the used Four Winns, they were very nice and I also agree about the Monterey. For the smaller boats I really liked the Regal's, they have some really nice finishing touches and i think the high arch that starts at the stern is really sharp. There were some used Sea Rays there that I thought were a bit overpriced. My favorite boat there was the 32' Yellowfin center console in triple white. I spoke with the dealer and he said Yellowfin is a 100% custom boat builder and they only build 20-30 boats a year. I love an all white boat. Seemed a lot smaller then last years show and I thought last year was small. Had some great deals on summer dockage, if my boat doesnt sell I will likely switch marinas.
